InvoiceGen started with a frustration: invoicing software in 2026 still felt like 2010. We wanted a tool that was fast, beautiful, and got out of the way.
Why we exist
Most invoicing tools are bloated. They were designed for accountants, not for the freelancer who just finished a project and needs to get paid by Friday. We built InvoiceGen for the second person.
Every feature is measured against one question: does this help a small business get paid faster? If not, it doesn't ship.

InvoiceGen is built by Syfer Ltd, a small product studio based in the UK. We're a team of two — focused on building tools that small businesses actually use, not ones that look good in a pitch deck.
We self-funded this product because we wanted to. We answer support emails personally. We ship updates every week.
